L.A. Convention Center

The Los Angeles Convention Center attracts millions of visitors annually and is renowned internationally as a prime site for conventions, trade shows, and exhibitions.

Located in the cultural, business, and entertainment mecca of Downtown Los Angeles, the LACC is an integral economic component of the Southern California area, and remains an enduring symbol of environmental sustainability and social responsibility for our community. First opened to the public in 1971, the LACC has since undergone modernization and expansion; as a testament to our continuous effort to enhance our facility and services, the LACC has completed numerous Alteration & Improvement as well as Capital Improvement Projects during fiscal year 2014-2015.

These critical projects have enhanced both functionality and aesthetics of the LACC, and include adding 187 security cameras throughout the facility, upgrading the parking system to expedite transaction time, replacing existing carpet, installing the latest energy-efficient products such as “cool roofs” and new air handling units, remodeling the theatre (411), and upgrading IT infrastructure and operating systems throughout the Center.

Registration for Staff Development Day will take place in the Foyer of Concourse Hall on the Main Level.  Look for the West Hall Entrance, enter and make your way to the Main Level. The Concourse Hall is between the West and South Hall, but nearest to West. Take a tour using the interactive map below. Our day will begin on the Main Level, but later will include sessions in the 400 room block of the Second Level.
